ARCATA -- Two men and a woman, all from Arcata, have been busted for some smash-and-grab auto burglaries on the 500 block of South G Street reported at 4:52 a.m. Thursday.
Arcata police found stolen property, which included two motorized wheelchairs, during a probation search of a home on the 100 block of F Street after recognizing the three in some surveillance camera footage.
Gary Barnett, 20, Vernon Johnson Jr., 18 and Kristine Bartolomeu, 19 were jailed in Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Officers returned the property to the owners of the cars whose windows had been smashed.
